Join us at our May meeting as we learn more about FEED Kitchens! 

Food Enterprise and Economic Development (FEED) Kitchens is a project of the Northside Planning Council of Madison. The facility is available for rent so programs and individuals seeking to prepare food to sell to the public have a legal place to prepare their food. Many local Madison food carts use FEED and each attendee will receive a coupon to purchase food from one of the food carts listed below!

FEED operations coordinator, Chris Broeckel, also runs a food recovery program called Healthy Food for All that specializes in large cafeteria/event pick ups along with pick ups from local farms. Items are brought to FEED and packaged for distribution to low income families. He will be sharing information about that organization as well.
