When working In a creative and social-focused industry, it can certainly be easy to put the “less fun” side of the business on the back burner… until you find yourself in a situation where it’s too late. Don’t let that be you!

Join NACE Capital Area of Wisconsin as we welcome Carolyn Jahnke, Founding Attorney of Athena Legal Solutions, to discuss Key Legal Issues for the Event Industry in 2022. Carolyn’s program will focus on:

  • Understanding key business and legal terms commonly used in industry contracts
  • Appropriately managing contractors versus employees
  • Appropriately managing your online presence, including social media and giveaways
  • Current day Covid considerations
  • Breaking down event legal liabilities, when multiple vendors are involved

Too often leaders don’t seek legal advice until it is too late and the costs are too high. Proactive, instead of reactive, legal actions can set you up for greater success and help you avoid higher costs down the road. Carolyn aims for her legal and business expertise to make an immediate and meaningful difference in the lives of those on the front lines of changing the world –  Leaders just like you.
